‘demand4justice’ campaign vigil over Indian rape laws

‘demand4justice’ is a grassroots london campaign formed after recent terrible gang-rape incidents that took place in India, receiving worldwide condemnation and horror.

For six weeks, London campaigners collected petition signatures at tube stations and other public areas, and then on Saturday 5th October, they held a candle-lighting vigil at the Gandhi statue in Tavistock Square, where they went through their basic demands, and prompted an interesting discussion among the 50 or so people that attended.

They have a facebook page, ‘demand4justice’. This is a short video I made of Saturday’s event.
